Privacy policy

What we store

• A device identifier generated by the app (shown as a MAC address) and a device key.
• TV model, app version, first and last use (for the trial and for support).
• The playlists you add. Logins are stored encrypted and are only sent to your own TV; the website never shows stored passwords.
• Your activation status and, for payments, the payment reference and amount.
• Messages you send us, with your name and e-mail address.
• For resellers: name, e-mail, credits and the TVs they activated.

What we don't do

No advertising, no tracking or analytics cookies, no selling of data. This website only uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and stores your "legal use" choice in your browser.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card or bank details.

Retention and your rights

You can remove playlists any time in the portal. To delete your device and all its data, or to request a copy, contact us via support@cablecutterplayer.com or the contact form with your MAC address. Under the GDPR you may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
