Terms of use

Last updated 1 November 2026.

1. The service

CableCutter Player ("the app") is a media player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, with a website for managing playlists and activations ("the portal"). The app does not provide, sell, host or include any channels, films, series or other content. It only plays playlists that you add yourself.

2. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the playlists you add and for having the legal right to watch the content in them. Do not use the app for unauthorised streaming of copyrighted content. We may block devices that are used in violation of these terms.

3. Trial and activation

Every TV gets a free trial of 7 days with all features. After the trial, a TV can be activated with a one-time payment (€ 9,99 at the time of writing). An activation applies to one TV and stays valid for as long as the app is offered. It cannot be transferred to another TV.

4. Payment and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Because the trial lets you test the app fully before paying, activations are final and non-refundable. By paying you explicitly agree that the activation is delivered immediately and that you waive the right of withdrawal for this digital service. See the refund policy.

5. Resellers

Resellers buy credits in advance. One credit activates one TV. Credits are non-refundable and do not expire. Resellers may not make promises on our behalf about content.

6. Availability

We do our best to keep the app and portal running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we are not responsible for the availability or quality of streams from third-party providers.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the activation of the TV concerned.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the version on this page applies. Dutch law applies. Questions: support@cablecutterplayer.com or the contact form.
